Transport to Oslo Airport (OSL)

Oslo Airport is located around 35 km northeast of Oslo. The fastest way to get there from the city centre is by catching the ‘Flytoget’ (shuttle train), which takes around 20 minutes. The trains run from around 05:00 until just after midnight. For bus services, you can catch the ‘Flybussen’ from the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, and the journey takes around 40 to 50 minutes. Nevertheless, taxis are a better option for flexibility, but a lengthy trip like this is likely to turn out quite expensive.

Transport to Sandefjord Airport, Torp (TRF)

Situated 110 km south of Oslo, Sandefjord Airport has bus and train connections available. As the journey time on the Torp Express bus is around 2 hours, be sure to plan ahead. Fortunately, these buses are timed with international flights in mind. The Torp-Oslo train is a bit faster at around 1 hour 45 minutes, with trains departing every hour or so. Be aware that you still need to hop on the free shuttle at the train station to reach the airport. Perhaps the fastest option, depending on traffic conditions, may be private car. Plus, the route is easy to navigate; simply take the E18.
